Facilities at Oriam
Our Edinburgh Campus is home to Oriam, Scotland's National Sports Performance Centre. This cutting-edge development transforms Heriot-Watt into the training hub for, among others, Scotland's national football and rugby squads.
Oriam aims to be a collaborative environment to support Scotland's up-and-coming sports men and women, their coaches and volunteers, to train and prepare for competition at the highest levels. The centre also welcomes students, staff, the local community and local sports groups.
The student flexi membership is just £6 per week and includes access to the Technogym Fitness Suite, over 30 group exercise classes, casual sport bookings, expert support from our qualified fitness team and discounted personal training packages.
Our facilities are available to hire for all levels of sport and ability. All sport equipment is available for hire from Oriam reception.

Joining Oriam
Visit the student memberships section on the Oriam website.
HWU students must log in using your hw.ac.uk email address. Your account is ready for you to use and simply needs to be activated by you creating your password.
When logging in for the first time, please click the 'forgotten password' link. You will receive an email to your hw.ac.uk with a link to set your password for the first time.

Booking online
All Oriam and Sports Union activities must be booked in advance. You can easily do this on the Oriam website.
